I'm a Photographer - Not a Runner!

ColorBlaze 5k? I had no idea it even existed but my daughter Jessica fortunately did. I arrived and had no idea that this 5k was going to be like no other I had ever seen before (not that I go to all that many 5k's). This 3.1 mile run would be not timed and would involve people throwing colored corn starch on others. The concept is a little bizarre but I think the runners enjoy the idea.

Sure there were those runners who fit the bill. You know the person who looks like the spend their days eating green stuff and when they aren't eating healthy things, they are exercising. But also there were the young, the old, the tall, the short, and the not so fit. As a matter of fact, I think most of the runners were children, older people and out of shape. And like my daughter who brought me to this event, most likely have hopes of getting themselves to feeling better and looking better.

At that moment when I took in exactly what this 5k was all about, I suddenly was wanting to participate. But the sciatic nerve  in my back was telling me otherwise. So instead I continued with the idea of what I had come along for, to take pictures.

Here is a video of the pictures I took. Yes, it is a promotional video I made but it's fun anyway!
